The Ronald Kirk Bridge and the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway (Formally known as Continental Avenue Bridge and West Dallas Gateway) are the most recent improvements to the Trinity River Corridor. Thanks to a combination of a generous donation in honor of Mary McDermott Cook and city funds, this newest amenity will offer an activity space near the Trinity River and unlike any other in Dallas. Come eat, love, play and enjoy life. This amenity offers active and passive play spaces, programmed activities and most of all, an up close view of the river, Trinity Floodway and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Lounge on the chairs, snack from one of the food trucks, play in the water, engage in a chess match or participate in one of the many fitness activities offered – there is something for everyone.

For a list of activities, please see our daily events.

For more information about how to explore more Trinity River Corridor activities, see Explore the Trinity.
